Environmental Poster, 2024
Poster, 11” x 17”

This poster was a project meant to provide information on an environmental cause while practicing combining Photoshop and Illustrator. I chose to represent fungi because I wanted to challenge myself to shed a different light on a topic that may seem unimportant or unpleasant. The poster utilizes a futuristic approach, using cool tones such as blue and purple as well as continuous clean line designs in the spaces around the text, background image, and mushroom in the center. The typefaces are clean and polished as well, the title more bold and square to add vigor and strength. The mushroom in the center is also purposefully at an angle so the viewer sees the fungi as something large and to be respected, with a bit of glow for that sci-fi effect. By combining visual elements with the information in the poster, fungus was made cool.
