About me
Sydney Waldrop is a current design student at the University of San Francisco, planning to graduate in spring of 2027. She is based in the city and leans into print and multimedia design.

Sydney has been interested in hands-on art and design since before she can remember. As a child, she was always trying new methods of art. She continues to connect and learn with both traditional and modern styles of design through practice. She is inspired by pre-internet posters and print work, and loves to work with textures and the playful use of space, believing in “intentional imperfection”. Designing and creating brings her great joy, especially when it involves many colors and typefaces.

She is currently employed at the student-run Graphics Center for the University of San Francisco, producing graphics for student organizations across campus and hopes to continue on a path towards the intersection between music, media, and design.

Sydney is from Bothell, WA, USA, where she grew up near the influences of Seattle, while also being influenced by her family’s many cats and dogs. In her spare time she enjoys eating lots of good food, exploring new places with her friends and family, and creating her personal art and music.

Fun  Facts
Sydney Waldrop is a 21-year-old plaid fanatic who buys eggnog during the holiday season and never finishes it.

She loves to pet street cats and her favorite food is sushi. Her least favorite movie is Mars Needs Moms (don’t bring it up). She doesn’t like to brag, but she can whip up a mean breakfast. You’ll always find her searching for new music and playing her blue electric guitar.

She puts on her pants one leg at a time and she really reaaally likes Snoopy. She used to have a unibrow as a kid and she has a keychain collection as well as a CD collection.

She likes collecting things.
