This CD front cover and inside slip was created for a mixtape, taking a simple color palette and adding textured fonts. In this project, playing with text and space proved to be a fun challenge, inspired by David Carson’s usage of both these elements. It was also interesting to figure out how to utilize the image in the inside cover and integrating the colors without text. Overall, the image texture ties in well with the large font, and the small clean font brings a simple component into the design.
