Installation Concept, The Outernet x DOOH.com

“Rivuletia” is an installation concept designed for the Now Building at the Outernet, an experience space adjacent to the Tottenham Court Road tube station in London. This project explores the area’s hidden rivers, utilizing found footage and cartography to uncover the natural world underneath one of the world’s oldest cities. A partner project, the installation considered size requirements and audience experience through visuals and audio. The scope of this project included finding a social purpose and developing a strong AI-involved design piece, considering scale as well as accessibility for all ages and abilities. It was an opportunity to share the stories of Camden Town, where the Outernet is located. The final concept includes renderings, a 1:55 min animatic with an ambient track (below), storyboards (below), and elevation mockups (above). The process required technical skills in AI research, video editing, illustration, audio production, and 3D experience design.
